Calling All Hinsons

"…that they should seek God…" Acts 17:26-27

Days 1 & 2 in Germany

We made it to Frankfurt safe and sound Tuesday morning around 10am. The airport got a little stressful when we were stopped and our bags were searched because I didn’t realize Play-doh was included in the no-more-than-3-ounce rule. They graciously let us through because it was sealed shut, thank you Jesus! Asher settled in on the floor and Evan settled in on my lap and both slept good for a majority of the ride.
We got to the Cauble’s lovely and welcoming home and unloaded our mound of bags. It was snowing like crazy and of course Asher was begging to play in it, so that was the first thing we did…piled on the snow clothes and ran around in the back yard. When all was said and done, it had snowed about 6 inches! Andy said this is the darkest winter in all German history, so it doesn’t look like we will get to see the sun much while we are here.
Last night the kids had a really hard time going to bed because of the time change and jet lag. That stuff is no joke, guys! They were cranky, wild, restless, and irritable. They finally calmed down around 12:30, after a hefty dose of Benadryl. Whew! Pray that doesn’t happen again tonight!
This morning we went to eat at a T bakery and had some yummy pastries (simit) and chai tea. We walked around downtown Frankfurt, which is a beautiful city. Andy and Grant are working on distribution now, handing out the fliers for the Jesus movie. They went through the T stores in Frankfurt and are now in a T neighborhood. The plan for later today is to get Grant and Asher a haircut at the T barber. 🙂 Can you tell they have a heart for the T people? Pray for the distribution, that people will be willing to take the fliers and come see the movie.
We love you guys so much! Thanks for all the encouragement and prayers!
