Sunday we slept in some, then ventured out for lunch. We had great food with an even better view from Canyon Breeze. After lunch we took a trolley ride to view some red rocks and learned a lot of history of Sedona. The picture below is of Thunder Mountain. This is where Walt Disney had a cabin and modeled Big Thunder Mountain Railroad after this beautiful piece of creation. Uptown Sedona is booming with shops and restaurants. Many cowboys, like John Wayne, would hang out here while taping the old westerns.
We ended the day watching the sunset over the red rocks from Airport Mesa. It was breathtakingly beautiful! It’s hard not to praise God for all He has created. It is undeniably His hand that made this beauty and we praise Him for allowing us to enjoy it!
The heavens are Yours, the earth also is Yours; The world and all it contains, You have founded them.
What an amazing day!
